Hi there, I'd like some help please! The last time I was on WW, it was Core. Now I'm back (online), and its Simply Filling. There are some things that I can't find, or I'm just not getting it. I think if I changed my plan online, I might get more info, but its the middle of my week, and I'm afraid of what it will do with my points, etc. So here's what's puzzling me:
For some foods (I think it was potatos and a couple of others), you could ony have once a day-is this the same?
The site says that this program differs from Core because it reinforces portion control, but that would mean measuring, would it not?
Fat free dressings were Core, but it does not look like they are a filling food. I can't find a list of fillig food condiments-do they still exist?
I'm thinking of trying it for a week, possibly next week. I think it help detox my body off the sugar (although I know you can use your points, so that will be determined). Has anyone had success on the program?
Thank you for any help!

I'm still following the old Core plan, and its very similar to Filling Foods.I'm sure that condiments, herbs, spices, etc, are allowed...I don't hesitate to use fat free salad dressing, and the rule on spuds, wholewheat pasta and brown rice has always been for only one meal per day...Hope this helps, and if I'm wrong, somebody will be along to correct me...lol

Thank you, that's what I assumed, but wasn't sure....I'm reading it to be the same program.
Never a shortage of people to tell ya when you're wrong, for sure, lol! :)

Condiments now DO have points, whereas they didn't on the old Core. However, normally one doesn't really use enough to actually matter in that way...condiments are not considered a FF & that makes sense...mustard isn't going to fill you up lol.
The site also states that the SFT is similar to Core, so it's not just the people here saying that.
As for the portion control, that was always very strongly suggested for Core as well, it's just emphasized more with this plan. Portion control can be measuring & weighing but it can also be eating the number of servings that are suggested by the Canada Food Guide, & not pigging out. I do not measure but I do make sure that my plate is 1/2 veggies, 1/4 grains/pasta/potato & 1/4 protein. I also eat from smaller plates....all things in moderation as before....I wish you well!

and yes...as with Core, people are successful on the SFT when it is followed.

Thank you GDH, that makes sense. When I read portion control, I thought that you'd have to measure, but yet it said you didn't have to. The food guide would be an excellent guide for portions (i.e. meat the size of your palm). I'm thinking of giving it a try next week, so I might be back with more question1s.
Thank you for your help!
