Help with Iphone app

Hi I am new to the WW online. I installed the Iphone app. My problem is that when I track online on my computer using the weght tracker it doesn't sync to my Iphone.

How do you I fix this?

When you enter WW on your iPod you must hit the refresh arrow in top left corner and it will sync or update with whatever you have saved online. Hope this helps.

did you download the WW Mobile app?
There are a couple of fake versions available out there as well..

If you downloaded the true WW mobile app, it should have been free and it has the actual WW logo showing

my app isn't working either, it used to match up with what I tracked online but now it's not. I even uninstalled it and reinstalled it but still doesnt work :(

Mine stopped syncing yesterday. I have tried everything. I have written to WW but have yet to receive a response. Many people have written about this in the techie message board.

I can't believe that WW has not responded!!! To at least say that they recognize there is a problem and that they are working on it!

The iPhone app was one of the main reasons that I joined WW (that and losing weight of course).

I am having to write everything down, and then input it in my computer when I get home. This defeats the purpose.

WW--Please respond to/or at least acknowledge the issue!!

Very frustrated.

They responded to me and here's what they said...

1. Doubletap the home button.

2. Icons of active applications will appear at the bottom of your screen.

3. Locate the Weight Watchers Mobile icon and hold it down with your finger. The active icons will shake and a minus sign will appear.

4. When a minus sign appears in the corner of the icon, click it and the app will close.

5. Tap the home button, then tap it once again.

6. Relaunch Weight Watchers Mobile.

I couldn't make this work but maybe I just don't know what I'm doing. If this works for you let me know.

They said the same thing to someone else. It didn't work for them or for me (I tried it to).

There is obviously another issue. This "fix" does nothing.

I think everyone with the iPhone app is having this problem! I also tried that "fix" but it didn't work for me either. I agree with Darbys...the least WW could do is acknowledge the problem and let us know they are working on it. :/

My iPhone app was doing that too, now it's telling me I don't have an internet connection when all of my other apps are having no trouble. I track almost exclusively with my phone (I'm never home and don't have access to ww at work) should I be copying down stuff that hasn't tracked to the website?

Yeah, I would track in a log or something. It was also telling me I had no internet connection ( I'm on WiFi) lol....this is really starting to get on my nerves. lol!!

I would suggest going to the app store and posting a review of the WW app with your frustrations. If they get enough negative reviews, maybe they will do something about it!

I posted one yesterday. I gave it only 1 star--because when it won't sync, it is useless to me. When it does sync, it is great! I will change to 5 stars when it works with no issues for a long period of time.

I phoned the 1 800 number (posted in the thread on the eTools board about this issue) just now. Apparently, they're aware of the problem, thought they had it fixed, but it isn't yet. They're still working on it.

I hate to go back to paper and I just don't trust my memory. The vagaries of technology.....

I emailed my manager last night and she forwarded it along to the IT folks; which is why they are aware of it now. They apparently weren't aware??

Yay for it getting fixed soon, I'd say that it is the #1 reason I have lost weight. Thanks to everyone who talked to people to get it fixed!

Thanks everybody for the inputs. This is my first week on WW. So far so good - down 3 lbs. But have been a bit frustrated trying to figure it all out. Well help if the Iphone app issue gets resolved.

Also noticed that points given on WW products if they same point plus are not always the same as if you use the pointsplus calculator.

Also finding it hard not to go over my 29 points a day.

I had the syncing problem also, WW did respond with the same advice as posted above, but it didn't help me. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck. However, when I "reset" my iPhone, everything was fixed!! I simultaneously held down the power and home buttons until it restarted itself (no settings, contact info etc. were lost or changed). Voila! Working well ever since. Good luck, hope this helps!
